About The Artist

Hello and welcome! I’m Natasha Ramsawak: artist, mother, and ocean-lover. I have been creating all of my life; creativity flows through my blood, an essential element of my life-force. 

My mediums of choice are glass mosaics, shell mosaics, and painting. Bringing forth into reality the scenes from my imagination is a joy and a gift. Having the ability to create is the most exciting rush; then sharing these creations doubles the pleasure! 

Creating art is a simple function of my being; like breathing or eating, it's necessary for my existence. I adore color and nature and texture and though I've gotten my hands into countless mediums in my time, glass is my anchor. 

I'm fascinated by the fragile yet dangerous and long-lasting nature of glass. Working with it may require stitches. But you also have the privilege of creating art that will outlast your lifetime so perhaps it's a small sacrifice. ;)
